LXII™

A display typeface from the future of 1971, Metis Digital Type Foundry is proud to present LXII.

LXII began its life as a monospaced type experiment inspired Jurriaan Schrofer. With each character navigating a strict 4X4 grid and attempting to fill the space as much as possible. After a full heavy weight latin character set was created it was then taken to the other extreme - A thin version and 7 weights in between. Recently we haved added a semil and fully rounded version. LXII also has a heap of discretionary ligatures to further blur the line between typography and image.

Available in 27 individual weights or one single variable weight.
